St. Paul, Minn. (Gangelhoff Center) -  The top-seeded #1 Concordia-St. Paul (27-4) claimed their fourth NSIC Tournament title with a four set win over sixth-seeded #21 Winona State (20-10) at the Gangelhoff Center on Sunday afternoon.  The Golden Bears picked up their first title since they won three in a row from 2004 to 2006. The win also gives Concordia the season sweep of both the NSIC regular season and tournament titles for the fourth time in program history. Both their four tournament titles and 12 regular season titles are the most by any program in the NSIC. This season's run improves CSP's record in NSIC Championship matches to 4-2 and moves their all-time mark in the tournament to 18-4.

Semifinals
No. 1 Concordia-St. Paul (26-4) advacned to the NSIC Tournament Championship match with a five set win over fifth-seeded No. 7 Minnesota Duluth (22-8) on Saturday afternoon at the Gangelhoff Center. The Golden Bears will take on Winona State in the title match on Sunday at 1 p.m.

No. 21 Winona State (20-9) took a two-set lead, then held on to top No. 2 Southwest Minnesota State 3-2 Saturday afternoon at the Gangelhoff Center in St. Paul to send the Warriors to the program's first NSIC title game.

CSP advances to the NSIC Championship match for the sixth time in eight trips to the tournament as they look for their fourth championship and first since 2006. Their last trip to the championship match came back in 2013 and resulted in a loss to the Bulldogs in five sets. Concordia is now 17-4 all-time in the NSIC Tournament overall. Winona State will be looking for its first ever tournament title in the match.

Quarterfinals
Top seeded Concordia-St. Paul rallied, as did second seeded SMSU to win in five sets in the quarterfinals of the NSIC Volleyball Tournament.  Third seeded Northern State and fourth seeded Wayne State were upset as sixth seeded Winona State and fifth seeded Minnesota Duluth advanced. 

Semifinal will be held at the Gangelhoff Center in St. Paul, Minnesota on Saturday and Sunday.  Semifinals will be played at noon and 2:30 p.m. while the championship match will be Sunday at 1 p.m.

The winner of the 2015 NSIC Volleyball Tournament will earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Central Regional Tournament. The full championship selections will be announced on Monday, Nov. 23 via a webcast selection show on www.NCAA.com at 6:30 p.m. The regional tournament will be played December 3-5 at a regional campus. The 2015 NCAA Elite 8 will take place Dec. 10-12 at Bob Martinez Athletics Center in Tampa, Florida.
