#12 Cassie Askvig (F, So., 6-2, Minot, N.D. / Minot HS)
University of Mary
- Averaged 20.5 points, 15.0 rebounds, 4.0 blocks and 2.0 assists
- She made 15-of-28 shots from the floor and was 9-of-12 at the line
- Tied her career-high with 25 points in a 65-51 win over UMD and tied the Marauders NCAA-era record for rebounds with 18
-She also had five blocks, made two assists, was 9-of-15 from the field and 6-of-7 at the free throw line against the Bulldogs
- Askvig wrapped up the weekend with 16 points and 12 rebounds in a 65-56 loss to SCSU
- She added three blocks and two assists and now owns four double doubles this season
- Currently ranks ninth in the NSIC in scoring (14.0 ppg), third in rebounds (9.7 rpg), ninth in blocks (1.5 bpg) and 12

- The Marauders claimed a second straight NSIC win with a 65-51 win over the Bulldogs. UMary outscored UMD 20-5 to end the game.
- UMary held a 55-30 rebounding advantage over UMD and outshot the Bulldogs 43.9 percent to 28.8 percent
- Fighting from behind much of the game, UMary scored the final 14 points of the first half against SCSU to tie the game 28-28 at intermission. The Marauders were within 55-52 of the Huskies late in the game but SCSU went 12-of-14 at the free throw line late in the fourth quarter to claim the win
- In consecutive games, the Marauders gave up just 96 points, 45 to Minot State and 51 to Minnesota Duluth
- Sophomore forwards from Minot, ND, Gabbie Bohl and Cassie Askvig combined to score 39 points against UMD and 37 against SCSU
- The Marauders just wrapped up a stretch of playing 8-of-11 games at the McDowell Activity Center |

- Cassie Askvig averaged 20.5 points, 15.0 rebounds, 4.0 blocks and 2.0 rebounds as the Marauders split a pair of home Northern Sun games over the weekend. She made 15-of-28 shots from the floor and was 9-of-12 at the line
- Askvig tied her career-high with 25 points against Minnesota Duluth and tied the Marauders NCAA-era record for rebounds with 18. She also had five blocks, made two assists, was 9-of-15 from the field and 6-of-7 at the free throw line
- Askvig wrapped up the weekend with 16 points and 12 rebounds against SCSU. She added three blocks and two assists
- Gabbie Bohl averaged 17.5 points. 8.0 rebounds and 3.0 blocks in the Marauders weekend split with UMD and SCSU. She posted her second double double of the season with 14 points and ten rebounds, blocked four shots and had three assists in a win over the Huskies
- Bohl followed with 21 points, six rebounds and two blocks against SCSU. She is 3rd in the NSIC in scoring (18.2 ppg), 12th in rebounding (6.7 rpg), 9th in field goal percentage (.524) and 10th in blocked shots (1.4 bpg) |

- Minnesota Crookston tied the school record of 15 three-pointers Saturday versus Winona State
- The 15 three-pointers ties the school record which was previously set Nov. 20, 2013 against Finlandia University
- The Golden Eagles had a big weekend from beyond the arc with 28 three-pointers
- They shot 28-of-55 for 50.9 percent on the weekend
- The Golden Eagles are fourth in NSIC for free throw percentage at 76.6 percent
- Minnesota Crookston is fifth in NSIC for blocked shots with 4.5
- The Golden Eagles are sixth in the NSIC for three-pointers made per game at 6.6 |
