NSIC Women’s Field Athlete of the Year
Courtney Crandall (Pole Vault, Sr., Rapid City, S.D. / Rapid City Central HS)
Sioux Falls
- NSIC Women’s Pole Vault Champion with meet record mark
- Cleared 14-2 to win the title and set new NSIC meet record
- Ranked No. 1 in NCAA Division II with an automatic qualifying mark
- Set No. 4 and No. 10 NCAA Division II all-time marks this season
- Broke USF record three times
- Named NSIC women’s field athlete of the week twice this season
- Named USTFCCCA national athlete of the week for her NSIC Championship performance
- Won seven women’s pole vault competitions this season
- Cleared automatic qualifying standard five times this season
- Cleared 4.00 meters at six different meets this season and 10 total times

NSIC Women’s Track Athlete of the Year
Emilee Trost (Mid-Distance, Jr., Goodhue, Minn. / Cannon Falls HS)
Minnesota Duluth
- Finished as the top point scorer at the NSIC Indoor Track and Field Championships for the second straight year
- Generated 30 points and captured three individual titles
- Won the mile run in an NSIC record time of 4:41.88, the best time in NCAA II this season
- Won the 600m run in a NSIC and UMD record time of 1:32.41
- Won the 1000m run in a time of 2:50.92
- Was a four-time recipient of the NSIC Indoor Track Athlete of the Week honor in 2017
- Ranks among the top five NCAA II individuals for times in the 800m run, 3000m run and the distance medley relay

NSIC Women’s Newcomer of the Year
Katie Taylor (Throws, Fr., Hayward, Wis. / Hayward HS)
Winona State
- Won the NSIC Shot Put championship with a heave of 49-9.75
- Finished fourth in the weight throw with a toss of 57-3.5
- Ranks seventh nationally in NCAA Division II in the shot put
- Ranks 25th in the nation in the shot put
- Ranks third all-time at WSU in the shot put

NSIC Women’s Coach  of the Year
Jim Dilling - Minnesota State  
- Earned his first NSIC Women's Coach of the Year honor
- Coached 14 All-Conference Athletes
- Coached the Mavericks to their second straight NSIC Indoor Championship
