NSIC Men’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year
Myles Hunter (110m Hurdles, Jr., Conyers, Ga. / Heritage HS) - Minnesota State
- Won the NSIC Championship in the 110m hurdles (13.94) and ran a leg of the championship 4x100m
- Currently holds the second fastest time in NCAA Division II this season in the 110m hurdles at 13.60
- His mark of 13.60 broke his own school record and is one of only four athletes under 14.00 in Division II
- Has automatically qualified for the NCAA Championship
- Selected as NSIC Male Track Athlete of the Week twice during the outdoor season
NSIC Men’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Year
Ryan Johnson (Throws, Sr., Amery, Wis. / Amery HS) - St. Cloud State
- Earned high point performer at NSIC Championships, scoring 26 points
- Won the hammer throw at the NSIC Championships with a SCSU school record heave of 199-08
- Finished second in the discus (175-10) and the shot put (52-01.75)
- Ranks 13th in the nation in the hammer throw and 15th in the discus
NSIC Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Newcomer of the Year
Paul Selman (Sprints, So., Glen Ellyn, Ill. / Glenbard West HS) - Minnesota State
- Scored 12.5 points at the NSIC Championships
- Was part of the winning 4X100 relay team and finished second in the 100m (10.49) and with the 4X400 relay team
- Ranks second in the NSIC in the 100m and fifth in the 200m (21.70) this season
- Also competed for the Maverick’s wrestling team this past winter
NSIC Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Coach of the Year
Tracy Hellman - Augustana University
- Led the Vikings to a second place finish at the NSIC Championships
- Coached 17 All-Conference performers during outdoor season
- Earned his first NSIC Outdoor Track & Field Coach of the Year honor
All-Conference performers consist of the top three place winners in each event and the members of the top two relay teams from the Conference meet.
