North Division

Moenkedick averaged 16 points and 11 rebounds on the weekend as the Golden Eagles picked up an important sweep with wins over University of Sioux Falls and Southwest Minnesota State. Moenkedick helped the Golden Eagles claim sole possession of third place in the NSIC North as they improved to 10-8. Moenkedick tallied 22 points and 11 rebounds in a win over Sioux Falls as she was 9-of-21 for 42.9 percent from the field against the Cougars. She added two assists and three steals in the game. Against SMSU, Moenkedick tallied 10 points and 11 rebounds, claiming her second double-double of the weekend. The junior was 3-of-5 from the field and 4-of-4 from the charity stripe. She added four assists and two steals.  She is also approaching the 1,000 point milestone for UMC as she currently has 984 points in her career at UMC and ranks ninth all-time in school history. This marks the second time this season Moenkedick has been named NSIC Player of the Week (12/1).

Spencer averaged 15.5 points and seven rebounds per game in two home wins over MSU Moorhead and #16 Northern State. Spencer recorded her fifth double-double of the season with 18 points and 10 rebounds on 7-of-10 shooting in Friday’s 81-60 win over MSU Moorhead. She then scored the game-winning basket with 12.3 seconds to play and had a team-high 13 points with four rebounds and three steals in a 58-57 win over #16 Northern State.  Spencer shot 54.5 percent from the field (12-of-22), 70 percent at the free throw line (7-of-10) and averaged four steals in the two home wins. This marks the second time this season Spencer has been named NSIC Player of the Week (12/1).
