Riewer averaged 15.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 6.0 assists per game as MSUM defeated Bemidji State 99-61 and Minnesota Crookston 66-44 on the road last weekend to secure a share of the NSIC regular season championship. Riewer shot 63.2 percent (12-of-19) from the field and 58.3 percent (7-of-12) from the three-point line over the weekend. The Staples, Minn. native scored 18 points, grabbed three rebounds, and dished out seven assists in the win over Bemidji State. He then scored 13 points, had six rebounds, five assists, and one block in the win over Minnesota Crookston.This marks the fifth time this season Riewer has been named NSIC Player of the Week (11/24, 12/22, 2/2 & 2/16).

Marei averaged an NSIC-high 29 points to go with 10 rebounds per game in Minnesota State’s two wins last weekend at Sioux Falls and SMSU. He shot an astounding 80% (24-of-30) from the field to go along with four blocks. In a 74-62 win at Sioux Falls Marei tallied his 28th career double-double with a career-high 34 points to go with 12 rebounds. He then posted 24 points and eight rebounds in just 20 minutes in a 108-73 win at Southwest Minnesota State. This marks the fourth time this season Marei has been named NSIC Player of the Week (12/15, 1/5, 1/16 & 2/16).
