BURNSVILLE, Minn. - The 2015 NSIC Volleyball Tournament pairings have been determined following the conclusion of the NSIC regular season schedule.  The top eight teams from the NSIC Volleyball Standings advance to the single-elimination tournament.  The top four seeds host first round games on Wednesday, November 18 with the winners advancing to the semifinal and championship rounds on Saturday, November 21 and Sunday, November 22 in a bracketed format. There will be no reseeding following the first round games. The highest remaining seed following the quarterfinals will host the semifinals and championship games.

Concordia-St. Paul won its 12th NSIC regular season title in the last 13 years after finishing 18-2 in NSIC play. The Golden Bears will be the number one seed entering the tournament and will host a first round match against Minnesota State on Wednesday at 7 p.m.  SMSU and Northern State tied for second with 17-3 records, but SMSU earned the second seed via a tie-breaker.  The Mustangs will host seventh seeded Augustana while the Wolves will host sixth seeded Augustana.  Wayne State earned the fourth seed and will host fifth seeded Minnesota Duluth in the opening round. 

The winner of the 2015 NSIC Volleyball Tournament will earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Central Regional Tournament. The full championship selections will be announced on Monday, Nov. 23 via a webcast selection show on www.NCAA.com at 6:30 p.m. The regional tournament will be played December 3-5 at a regional campus. The 2015 NCAA Elite 8 will take place Dec. 10-12 at Bob Martinez Athletics Center in Tampa, Florida.
