Busher was one spot behind in tenth, totaling 3,883 points. Busher’s top finish in any of the seven events was second in the javelin. The Multi-Event Championship served as the opener to the NSIC Outdoor Championship, with the remaining events hosted by Winona State on May 9-10.
Women Track: Jordan Skelly shattered her own school record in the 3000 meter steeplechase as the Winona State track and field team won six events at the Saint Mary’s Open Saturday in Winona. Skelly won the steeplechase with a time of 10:59.86, bettering the school record she set earlier this season by 17 seconds. Her time was also an NCAA Division II Championship provisional qualifying mark.
