UMD 3rd, Augie 5th at NCAA DII Women's Cross Country Championships

NCAA Women's Results

Louisville, Ky. - Minnesota Duluth finished in third place while Augustana was fifth in the team standings at the NCAA DII Women's Cross Country Championships, run on a sloppy course at Tom Sawyer Park in Louisville, Ky. Augustana's Leah Seivert was the top finisher from the NSIC as she came in tenth with a time of 21:33.  Sam Rivard was the Bulldogs top finisher as she was 14th with a time of 21:38, while teammate Emilee Trost was 18th with a time of 21:42.3.

The NSIC had eight student-athletes earn All-American honors by finishing in the top 40. Bulldogs joining Rivard and Trost were Breanna Colbenson (25th) and Hannah Olson (27th) while Augustana Annie Kruse was 36th.  Northern State's Sasha Hovind (15th) and U-Mary's Alexis Zeis (21st) participated as individuals at the championship and also earned All-American honors for their finishes.

Winona State finished in 17th place at the championships and were led by Jordan Skelly, who finished in 59th place with a time of 22:28.7.
