Augustana (2-3, 0-1 South) at Wayne State (4-1, 1-0 South) - 1 p.m.

Wayne, Neb. - Senior running back Nick Pulscher ran for 145 yards and one score while senior wide receiver Kevin Paulsen added six catches for 122 yards and two scores to lead Wayne State College in a 31-27 homecoming win over Augustana College in Northern Sun Conference football played Saturday afternoon at Bob Cunningham Field in Wayne.  WSC is now 8-0 in homecoming contests under head coach Dan McLaughlin as the Wildcats improved to 4-1 overall and 4-1 in the NSIC while Augustana College drops to 2-3 overall and 2-3 in league play. Minnesota, Crookston (1-4, 0-1 North) at Bemidji State (1-4, 0-1 North) - 1 p.m.

BEMIDJI, Minn. (Chet Anderson Stadium) – The Bemidji State University football team halted a three-game losing skid and improved its record to 2-3 with an emphatic 35-2 win against Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference foe University of Minnesota, Crookston Saturday in its annual Homecoming Game. With the win, the Beavers continued a tradition of jumping into Lake Bemidji after a Homecoming victory.  The Beavers (2-3, 2-3 NSIC, 1-0 NSIC North) won the turnover battle and posted two scoring plays of more than 30 yards in the win, turning the trend of the last three games. The BSU defense and special teams forced and recovered three Minnesota, Crookston (1-4, 1-4 NSIC, 0-1 NSIC North) fumbles and picked UMC quarterback A.J. Barge once, while only losing one fumble to earn a plus three in turnover margin. The Beavers entered the game -2.75 in the category, due mostly to fumbling 11 times in the first four games. Winona State (4-1, 1-0 South) at Upper Iowa (3-2, 1-0 South) - 1 p.m.

FAYETTE, Iowa – Winona State scored twice in the fourth quarter to come from behind and post a 45-42 victory over Upper Iowa in both team's NSIC South Division opener Saturday in Fayette. Trailing 35-31, the Warriors scored on a 20 yard run by Rayon Simmons with 8:31 remaining in the game to retake the lead. Three plays later WSU safety Jared Mitchell intercepted a Cole Jaeschke pass and returned it 52 yards for a score and a 45-35 Warrior advantage. Upper Iowa would not go away, scoring with 5:42 to pull within three, 45-42. After Winona State was forced to punt on their next possession, Upper Iowa marched down the field but was stopped on a fourth down play from the WSU 44 yardline with just over a minute remaining, cementing the Winona State victory. Northern State (2-3, 1-0 North) at MSU Moorhead (0-5, 0-1 North) - 2 p.m.

MOORHEAD, Minn. - Northern State junior Jared Jacobson threw for a career-high 280 yards and three touchdowns, while the NSU defense held MSU Moorhead to a school-record -40 yards rushing, as the Wolves rolled to a 45-7 victory over the Dragons on Saturday afternoon in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference football action.  NSU picked up its second straight win to improve to 2-3 on the season, all in NSIC play.  MSU Moorhead fell to 0-5 on the year with Saturday's homecoming loss.  The Dragons have dropped 12 straight games dating back to Sept. 24, 2011.  NSU Recap | MSUM Recap

Concordia St. Paul (1-4, 0-1 South) at #15 Minnesota State (5-0, 1-0 South) - 2 p.m.

Mankato, Minn. --- In front of 6,472 homecoming fans at historic Blakeslee Field on Saturday, the Minnesota State Mavericks continued its winning ways by knocking off the Concordia University Golden Bears, 30-10, and push its record to 5-0. The win marks the fourth time in program history that the Mavericks have started a season with five straight victories, its first since 2009. A week after outrushing MSU-Moorhead by 300 yards, the ground game was a key again today. The Mavericks rushed for 216 yards compared to just 69 for the Bears. Redshirt-freshman quarterback Mitch Brozovich led the way with 23 rushed for 97 yards and a touchdown. Redshirt-freshman Connor Thomas added 91 yards on 12 carries including a touchdown of his own. MINOT, N.D. - Minot State University's Zac Cunha threw touchdown passes to three different receivers - including the go-ahead strike to Porter Sturm with 1:52 to play as the Beavers earned their first Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference football win 32-21 Saturday at Herb Parker Stadium. It was a game of runs as the Beavers (1-4 NSIC, 1-0 North) scored the game's first 10 points on a 34-yard pass from Cunha to Glyn Borel and a 41-yard field goal from Aaron LaDeaux.  MISU Recap | U-Mary Recap

No. 2 Minnesota Duluth (4-1, 0-1 North) at St. Cloud State (3-2, 1-0 North) - 6 p.m.

St. Cloud, Minn. - St. Cloud, Minn. – St. Cloud State University junior running back Michael Walker (Walworth, Wis.) caught the game winning pass as time ran out to give the Huskies a 51-49 upset win over #2-ranked University of Minnesota Duluth Saturday evening in a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) match-up at Husky Stadium. St. Cloud State improved to 3-2 overall and 1-0 in the NSIC North. The Bulldogs suffered their first loss of the season and dropped to 4-1 overall and 0-1 in the NSIC North. SCSU Recap | UMD Recap

Southwest Minnesota State (1-4, 0-1 South) at #25 Sioux Falls (5-0, 1-0 South) - 6:30 p.m.

Sioux Falls, S.D. - SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (September 29, 2012) – Stout defense and 14 unanswered fourth quarter points, lifted the University of Sioux Falls to their fifth win of the season Saturday night, beating Southwest Minnesota State University, 41-22. The Cougars had just a four point advantage heading into the final period, but Taylor Perkins connected with Jeremiah Oates and Kendrick Celestine on consecutive fourth quarter drives, to pull away and record the game’s final score. USF begins the season 5-0 for the ninth time in 10 seasons, while SMSU falls to 1-4. Taylor Perkins finished 18-31 317 yards and five touchdowns, both career-highs. Oates led the Cougars with five catches for 112 yards and two scores, which gives him nine touchdowns on the year. USF Recap | SMSU Recap
