Minnetonka, Minn. (Life Time Fitness) - Third seeded Upper Iowa defeated sixth seeded MSU Moorhead 6-0 in the quarterfinals of the NSIC Women's Tennis Tournament.  The Peacocks will not take on second seeded Winona State at approximately 6:30 p.m. tonight.

The Peacocks started fast winning all three doubles matches. Amanda Nunez and Karli Loewecke defeated Kayla Heuther and Alyse Grelson 8-3 while the Peacocks took the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles 8-1 and 8-0.

Loewecke defeated Kathryn Neubauer 6-0, 6-3 at No. 2 singles before Nunez then defeated Huether at No. 1 singles 6-2, 6-0 to end the match.  Jennah Smith also defeated Kaitlin McNary 6-4, 6-0 at No. 6 singles just after the No. 1 singles match concluded.
