BEMIDJI STATE REPEATS AS CONFERENCE
CHAMPS
Don Niskanen, head Men's Golf coach
at Bemidji State, guided the Beavers to their second
consecutive conference title in Men's Golf. Niskanen
was named the NSIC Coach of the Year for his efforts.
BSU has now taken thirteen Northern Sun Intercollegiate
Conference Championships since the inception of
Men's Golf in 1955.
Tom Jenkins, sophomore from Bemidji,
Minnesota, captured the NSIC Golfer of the Year
honors at the Bemidji Town & Country Club. He shot
a two over par 146 in the 36-hole two-day event.
The total yardage at the Bemidji Town & Country
Club is 6,500 with a par of 72 over the 18-hole
course. This marks the third consecutive year that
